Overview
This 10-day safari allows you to experience both the bush and the beach attractiveness. You will see the Big Five as well as other exciting animals. All this with the assistance of a tour operator based in Arusha. This tour provides full board while on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a 4x4 Jeep with mineral water, snacks, power sockets, and binoculars supplied and selected accommodations. After the bush safari, you fly to Zanzibar to relax and enjoy the beach.
Program: The safari guide from Full Package Adventures in Arusha will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You are transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight stay and prepare for the next day's adventure. If you have a time, you can explore the city with our guide without any charges.
Program: After breakfast our tour guide drivers will pick-up you from your lodge and depart to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands which is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above.
Program: After breakfast, you will depart to Serengeti National Park on a game drive while carrying lunch box and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You spend the following day inside the park on game drives.
Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
Program: After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30 000 large mammals are resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and a wide variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.
Program: After breakfast, spend some hours at the lodge for relaxation and leisure, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone town.
Program: After breakfast, we take a full-day Stone town tour with our local guide. Once we have finished the day's activities, we will transfer you to your beach hotel.
Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches are due to the colonial presence in the country and the mosques commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. You will also visit other exciting destinations in the town.
Program: These two days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar's best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colorful coral reef.
Program: Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport ready for your depature back home or to another destination, where our service ends.
