After a hearty breakfast, we set off on our second day of adventure in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Our first stop was the Canopy Walk, a suspended walkway that offers stunning views of the forest canopy. We spent two hours walking along the walkway, stopping to admire the incredible diversity of plants and animals that live in the forest.
After lunch, we headed to the Chimpanzee Tracking Centre. We were assigned to a group of eight people and led by a park ranger into the forest. After a short hike, we came across a group of chimpanzees. We were able to observe them for about an hour as they went about their daily activities. It was an amazing experience to see these intelligent creatures up close.
We returned to the park headquarters in the late afternoon, exhausted but exhilarated by our day's activities. We had seen some of the most amazing things in the forest, and we were already looking forward to our next adventure.

In the afternoon, we set off on our gorilla trek. The hike was challenging, but the views were incredible. We hiked through dense rainforest, up steep slopes, and across rushing rivers. After about two hours, we finally reached our destination: a group of gorillas!
