Overview
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Kenya's wildlife on this 5-day safari to the Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli National Parks.
After a hearty breakfast in Nairobi, we will depart for Tsavo East National Park. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, and we will stop along the way to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery.
As we approach Tsavo East, we will be treated to stunning views of the Yatta Plateau, the largest lava flow in the world. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and many more. We will have the opportunity to go on game drives, where we will search for these animals in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at our lodge in Tsavo East and check in. After freshening up, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. In the evening, we will go on an afternoon game drive, where we will have the chance to see animals that are more active at this time of day.
After a leisurely breakfast, we will set off on our first game drive in Tsavo East National Park. We will drive through the dry savannahs and acacia forests, searching for the many animals that call this park home.
We may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, and many more. We will also keep an eye out for the rarer animals, such as the Grevy's zebra, the reticulated giraffe, and the Somali ostrich.
In the afternoon, we will have lunch at our lodge. After lunch, we will go on a second game drive, this time in the hope of seeing some of the nocturnal animals that live in the park.
We may see lions, leopards, hyenas, and jackals hunting at night. We may also see bushbabies, genets, and other small mammals that are more active at night.
After breakfast, we will depart from Tsavo East National Park and drive to Tsavo West National Park. The drive takes about 2-3 hours, and we will stop along the way to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery.
Tsavo West National Park is known for its lush vegetation and its abundance of wildlife. We will have the opportunity to see many of the same animals that we saw in Tsavo East, as well as some additional species, such as rhinos, crocodiles, and hippos.
In the afternoon, we will go on a game drive in Mzima Springs, a group of freshwater springs that are home to a variety of aquatic animals.
After breakfast, we will depart from Tsavo West National Park and drive to Amboseli National Park. The drive takes about 2-3 hours, and we will stop along the way to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery.
Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and many more. We will have the opportunity to go on game drives, where we will search for these animals in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, we will go on a game drive to see Mount Kilimanjaro. The views of the mountain from Amboseli are truly spectacular.
After breakfast, we will depart from Amboseli National Park and drive back to Nairobi. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, and we will stop along the way to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery.
We will arrive in Nairobi in the evening, where our safari will come to an end.
